The town of Briarwood

The town of Briarwood was founded in the year 1626 by a group of supernatural pioneers.

Briarwood is a town built on tradition and history, filled with families who have lived there for generations. The people are generally friendly but reserved, with a strong sense of community and a deep-seated loyalty to their neighbors. There's a certain quietness to the place, a slower pace of life that contrasts sharply with the hustle and bustle of the nearby college, Briarwood folk. The air is thick with stories and secrets, whispered down through the years.

Town aesthetic

Centered around a classic New England town square with a whitewashed church, a Revolutionary War monument, and a general store that sells penny candy alongside locally crafted goods.

Houses are mostly colonial-era, often painted in muted colors like slate blue, sage green, and brick red. Many have sprawling porches adorned with rocking chairs and hanging plants.

Cobblestone streets wind their way through the town, sometimes giving way to dirt paths that lead deeper into the surrounding forest.

The famous supernatural college, based in Briarwood, MA.

Norus's Tattoo parlor

A quaint little building nestled on the shop street where young adults come to make bad decisions. Several parents have tried to get the parlor shut down throughout the years but have been unsuccessful.

Norus Jr. Mckinnley

The current owner of Norus's Tattoo Parlor and the son of its founder.

The Briarwood Inn

A cozy bed and breakfast run by a seemingly ordinary woman with an affinity for healing herbs.

The oldest shop in town, filled with dusty relics and curiosities. Old Man Hemlock is rumored to be far older than he appears.

Universe and Lore

The heart of Briarwood's lore lies within its seemingly ordinary landmarks.

The air is thick with the scent of woodsmoke and damp earth, a constant reminder of Briarwood's deep connection to the surrounding Blackwood Forest. This forest is more than just a collection of trees; it's the lifeblood and the shadow of Briarwood.

Whispers speak of ancient spirits dwelling within its depths, of glades that pulse with an unnatural energy. Children are warned to stay on the marked paths, and even the oldest residents cast wary glances towards the darkening woods as dusk approaches. Legends say that the forest remembers everything, holding onto secrets best left undisturbed.

Demi Humans

There are all sorts of demi humans but in this universe mammals are most common. (but there is fish, birds, reptiles, and amphibians.)

Supernatural creatures such as Vampires, werewolves, ghosts, ect. exist.

Geography

Though this universe is inspired by Io’s modern fantasy/Succverse, it is not set in the same universe nor does it follow real american history, it is simply based on the state of Massachusetts.

Briarwood Folk University

This carrd is just building on the town that the Supernatural college universe is set in. All modern fantasy bots will be in this universe unless stated as not canon.

Briarwood folk university

Founded in 1876, Briarwood Folk College has acted as a refuge to the supernatural youth of the small town since its first school was built in Briarwood. Briarwood folk now has several buildings spread across the state of Massachusetts and charities in their name.

Briarwood Folk prides itself on a tight-knit community and their students work hard to provide for yearly events i the name of their beloved county; Such as the yearly Halloween fest, County fair, winter ball and the Panthers basketball tournament.

The Briarwood Historical Society was founded in the late 1700's to "collect and preserve, and teach the study of supernatural history," the BHS is celebrating 225 years of collecting, protecting, and sharing Supernatural history, life, and culture.

Norus's Tattoo parlor

This little building is one of the newer buildings nestled in the town center; Many secrets have been made here under the needle. It houses a tattoo parlor and bar where young adults come to make bad decisions.

The parlor used to be a pawnshop until it was shut down due to the previous owner trading stolen goods. Several parents have tried to get the parlor shut down throughout the years but have been unsuccessful.

Norus Jr. Mckinnley

The current owner of Norus's Tattoo Parlor and the son of its founder.

Arbor Mckinnley

Norus Jr's little brother.

Works as a tattoo artist at Norus Tattoo parlor, tried to go to Briarwood Folk a few years ago but flunked out after two semesters.

Alexis Monte

A werewolf tattoo artist who works at the Norus Tattoo parlor.

Alexis has a connection to the local bikers and Auto repair shop downtown.

The Orewell farmstead

Carlos Orewell

The owner of Orewell farm.

Carlos Orewell is the driving force behind Orewell farms, he is the main farmer and breeding bull on the property. As he is the breeding bull, he has a lot of children he hasn’t met.

He is a no-nonsense man and has raised his children to take over the farm in case of any emergency, often being stern on his son.

Despite not being together with his children’s mother, he still has a good relationship with her and treats her as a close friend.

Janette Walsh

The mother of the Orewell children.

While not Carlos Orewell's wife, Janette is a loving mother and lives on the farm due to her close connection to her children.

Janette was a prize winning heifer back in her day when she did pageants and often gets asked to be used as a breeding cow at different farms for her beauty.

Janette has a few children on other farms but feels closest to the Orewell children due to them being her first.

Ferdinand ''Nandy'' Orewell

Set to become the Orewell farmer.

Nandy, or Ferdinand as he was born as, Is set to inherit the farm after his father.

Nandy has been taught to farm and that he will eventually have to be a breeding ox, something he is dreading due to his awkward and shy personality.

Ferdinand is very protective of his younger sister, often using his intimidating build to his advantage to fend off suitors who try to get with her.

Missy Orewell

The pageant princess heifer.

Missy takes after her mother in both looks and passion, often bringing back ribbons and trophies to display above her bed.

As the youngest Orewell sibling, she has never had the same stern expectations put on her as her brother has.

Her father has always just said that she should continue pagenting instead of worrying about farm affairs.

Demi human dynamics

My personal demi human dynamics are inspired by Alpha/Beta/Omega *

I prefer to write demi-humans as more feral in nature because i think it is interesting to do so and its more fun to play around with. I am in no way supportive of zoophiles.

Its cringe, I know but, Its the best thing based off what I have in mind. Its a lot of text but its for those who like thinking about dynamics like me.

Some demi-humans work in the same way as their animal counterpart!

There are normal animals in this universe.

For example, Cows can be used as breeding stock and be fine with this as many cows work in manual labour. I imagine there are cow products at the store produced by demi-humans in the dairy section for other cow demi’s to consume, such as milk for children.

Dog demi's often work in health care to replace therapy dogs or blue collar jobs due to some breeds instincts as working breeds.

Dynamic Statistics

Alphas

Alphas are significantly taller and more powerfully built than members of the other dynamics, with an average height of 6'4".

The primary physical attribute distinguishing Alphas is the presence of either a prominent knot at the base of their penis or an enlarged clitoris, exceeding the average size found in other dynamics.

This unique anatomical feature is directly tied to their dominant, aggressive, and highly sex-driven nature.

Alphas often have more feral insticts and their dynamic affect their personality to make them more dominant by nature.

Their presence can either have a protective feeling or an intimidating effect that scares other dynamics.

Omegas

While not universal, certain Male Omegas possess a unique reproductive organ called a cloaca, allowing them to be penetrated and impregnated.

Female Omegas, regardless, have distinctly wider, childbearing hips compared to other dynamics, enabling them to safely deliver demi offspring. Both genders of this submissive dynamic are physiologically capable of being impregnated.

Omegas frequently exhibit heightened prey instincts and innate submissiveness due to their dynamic, which shapes their personalities. They often appear anxious, timid, or apprehensive, with a tendency to avoid confrontations.

Sadly, these natural traits often make Omegas easy targets for mockery and bullying from other dynamics, particularly dominant Alphas.

The constant teasing and harassment can negatively impact an Omega's self-esteem and mental well-being. Though notably, a lot of Omegas chose aggressive partners.

Betas

Betas, due to their unique biological immunity, are unaffected by the potent pheromones released during the heat and rut cycles of Alphas and Omegas. This makes them well-suited to assist and provide a calming presence during these intense, often overwhelming times.

Betas are commonly found advertising their availability and services to help other dynamics, some even make a living like this in the form of sex work. They often feel a need to help keep omegas safe and comfortable during their heat.

The mere presence of a Beta, with their naturally neutral and unassuming scent, has a profoundly calming impact on the other dynamics.

Male Betas possess the ability to impregnate both gender of Omegas and Female Betas.

Heat Cycles

Omegas experience monthly heat cycles, typically lasting 1-2 days each, which start around 17-18 years old, post-puberty. In females, heats replace the need for menstrual periods. The timing and regularity of these heat cycles can vary among individuals, sometimes being punctual and other times erratic or sporadic.

Rut Cycles

When exposed to an Omega's heat pheromones, unrelated Alphas enter a rut-like state, driven by a powerful, nearly uncontrollable urge to mate with the Omega. They experience intense arousal and may struggle to restrain their instincts, though with significant effort, it remains possible.

Bonding

An Alpha may bite and mark an Omega/Beta on nape or side of the neck during sex to satisy a possesive urge to claim a partner as theirs.

Other ways of bonding may be nuzzling a partner's scent gland.

Scent Glands

All three dynamics possess scent glands that change based on moods and all three dynamics are capable of smelling each others scents.

Typical scents can be such as strawberries, coffee or oak.

Suppressants

These have existed for a long time in some form or other but the more modern ones are the most effective and is very common to take them.

Medication used to control heats/ruts/instincts and shifts.
